FAQ
I'm not very good with tools. Will I be able to put it up?
Tightshade requires ONE tool: a 4-lb. sledgehammer (please don't try to use a regular claw hammer). If you can identify straight lines and understand the concept of tension, you should have no problem.
Why do I have to buy the conduit "legs" myself?
That's actually one of the advantages of the system. Since I have no way of knowing how tall your tent is, it's best for you to customize the height yourself. You can change it if you use a different tent, too. Also, since conduit is cheap and readily available everywhere, it would be silly to go to the expense and hassle of shipping it cross-country. I think Lowe's will even cut it to length for you for free. MAKE SURE YOU BUY 1 INCH EMT CONDUIT. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER SIZE.
Dammit, I lost the instruction sheet.
That's okay, I can email you another one.
What are the delivery options, again?
If you want your Tightshade sent to your house, I can ship it at your cost. If you live near Portland, Oregon, you can pick it up for free. Other delivery options are available, too, ask me.
Who took that beautiful photo in the background?
That would be my dear friend Art Tucker, who is also very fond of shade. Thank you for letting me use the photo, Arthur!
